Art Exhibition
Guiding Lights of Creativity and Excellence Shines Brightly in Term 3.
Term 3 is an exhilarating time for the Arts, with a multitude of entries in the Catholic Performing Arts Festival as well as creative spectacles at the College. In Week 9, the Visual Arts Learning Area will proudly present the 2024 Annual Art Exhibition, a showcase of exceptional artworks created by students from Year 7 through to Year 12 in Visual Arts and Media Art. This exhibition is a unique opportunity for our students to demonstrate their creativity and excellence.
This year is particularly special as Lumen celebrates its 40th anniversary. We are delighted to welcome back Jensine Datu, a 2009 graduate and former Visual Arts Captain. Jensine, a lifelong learner and active member of Perth's visual arts community, will return to Lumen, where she first honed her artistic talents.
The opening night of the Art Exhibition promises to be a memorable event, featuring art, music, and dance, as well as an inspiring speech from our 2024 Visual Arts Captain, Devon Easton. The entire College community is invited to join us in celebrating our students' achievements at the Performing Arts Centre.
