Lumen Christi College has a clearly articulated commitment to work in partnership with First Nations people to provide assistance to increase positive life choices and help further possible career opportunities for First Nations youth. As part of this commitment, Lumen Christi College offers the opportunity for prospective families to apply for a First Nations Secondary Bursary. The Bursary is available for students considering enrolment at our College.
The purpose of awarding the Bursary is to recognise and reward commitment to schooling. This will be evidenced by regular attendance at school, a commitment to learning and the participation in College and community activities. The First Nations Secondary Bursary Program at Lumen Christi College is funded by the College itself and so there are limited bursaries awarded. The College is committed to provide a very real and significant contribution to assisting First Nations families with the education of their children.
