Lumen Christi College is pleased to present the second session in our exciting Talk Series for the Year of St Joseph, with guest speaker, Fr Patrick Toohey.

Pope Francis declared this year to be the Year of St. Joseph who is a member of the Communion of Saints. In the Apostles Creed, we state we believe in the Communion of Saints, but how clearly do we understand and value spiritually what the Communion of Saints is?

This presentation will help us to discover together what we know and what we don’t know about St. Joseph. It will enable the Communion of Saints to grow, change and transform within ourselves in the nexus between them.

Fr. Patrick Toohey is a priest of the Archdiocese of Perth. He has a special devotion to St. Joseph in his fatherhood. Fr. Patrick has served in the parishes of North Beach, Merredin, Goomalling, Embleton and currently Scarborough. Beyond the parish, he currently serves on the Archdiocesan Reconciliation Action Plan Committee and the Curriculum Committee of CEWA, and prior to joining the priesthood, he taught for 20 years in the classroom. He is also the Chaplain to the Knights of the Southern Cross.
