Position Details:

 
The College is seeking an inspired and enthusiastic educator, committed to the pastoral care of students, with the ability to foster student engagement to improve educational outcomes for students. As a teacher in a Catholic school, you must be supportive of the ethos of the College.


 
Position Description:

Full-time, temporary commencing 19/04/2021 - 2/07/2021  (Term 2 - to cover LSL)
 

Selection Criteria:


The successful candidate will have:   
•   Experience teaching Cert III in Business
•   A strong commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education and a willingness to promote and support Catholic values as a member of the Lumen Christi College community
•   Have a minimum four years Tertiary qualification, which includes appropriate educational qualifications
•   Be fully registered with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA)
•   Must hold a TAE 40116 qualification

On appointment, the successful applicant will be required to; 
         •   Have a current Working with Children Check (WWC)
         •   Undergo Mandatory Reporting Training 

Desirable:
         •   Have a proven ability to work in a collaborative environment as a member of a team
         •   Assist with the development of community amongst staff, students and parents
         •  Have demonstrated co-curricular involvement and a capacity to relate professionally with students, parents and staff
