The Visual Arts Learning Area is busy preparing for the College’s upcoming Annual Art Exhibition Opening on Wednesday, 15 September 2021 at 6pm.

Selected pieces of Visual Art and Media Art have been collected throughout the year from across all year groups, and will be displayed at the Exhibition over three days.

Our Year 12 Students will be a focus of this Exhibition, as they showcase their skills, experience and the work being achieved in the “Certificate III in Visual Arts” qualification.

This year, I am happy to announce that Rita Basilio, the Art Coordinator from Trinity College in East Perth, will be our guest judge. She will be awarding acknowledgements to students from all year levels who will receive certificates and small gifts.

The Opening Night is a wonderful event of art, music and dance to accompany insightful speeches from our Visual Arts Captain, Jaime Refrea, our Guest Judge, Rita Basilio and our acting Head of Learning Area (Visual Arts), Lance Taylor.

The College community is welcome to view the art works in our Performing Arts Centre on Thursday, 16 September and Friday, 17 September between 8:00am – 9:00am and 3:15pm – 5:00pm.
