Term 2 at Lumen Christi College has been a hive of activity, with incursions, excursions, ACC carnivals, performing arts opportunities and much, much more!
From our Mothers' Day service to Reconciliation Week, ACC Carnivals, Try A Trade, a United Nations incursion, a drama excursion and more, students had a number of fantastic learning opportunities available to them throughout Term 2, 2021.

Principal's Address
Welcome to the Term 2 news wrap up, where we look back on a fantastic and eventful term with an unexpected ending. Throughout the term, students have had the opportunity to participate in a broad range of events and activities, such as Reconciliation Week, Sorry Day & Mabo Day, sport carnivals, drama and dance incursions and mock trials to name just a few.
CSPA & CSDPA Forum
During this term, the College hosted a leaders’ forum at which Catholic Secondary Principals and Deputy Principals joined together to discuss current and future developments in higher education with the Vice Chancellors from the five local universities.
Yagan House Heart Foundation Fundraiser
On Thursday 10 June, Yagan House hosted its annual fundraising event for The Heart Foundation.

Reconciliation Week
During Week 6 and 7 of this term, we acknowledged three significant events for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

This year, our Year 7 and Year 11 students are taking part in a Mentorship Program.
Year 12 Hip Hop Dance Workshop
On Tuesday 22 & 29 June, Desiree Davis came into our College and ran a Hip Hop Dance workshop with our Year 12 Certificate III Dance students.
HASS News
Term 2 in Humanities and Social Sciences has been very busy across all year groups.

ACC Inclusive Sports Carnivals
Diversity Education students and staff have had a jam-packed term, participating in three different ACC Inclusive Sports carnivals.

Fathers' Day Project
The Catholic Church looks to St Joseph as a role model for fathers, one who cares for and provides for his family and as we mark the Year of St Joseph we would like to celebrate the fathers, grandfathers and father-figures within the Lumen Christi College community. To do this, we have created a special Fathers' Day project.

Uniform Review
The Lumen Christi College uniform is a symbol of our community and is something in which we take great pride.

This term we commenced a 'Staff Spotlight' series on our social media pages, highlighting some of our wonderful staff members.

New Bus Mural
This mural was created by our students at the end of 2020 as part of Illuminious Week.

Congratulations to Year 12 students, James Ryan and Lukas Milne, who recently competed in the domestic Kalamunda & Districts Basketball Association grand final.
