Term 2 at Lumen Christi College has been a hive of activity, with incursions, excursions, ACC carnivals, performing arts opportunities and much, much more! 

From our Mothers' Day service to Reconciliation Week, ACC Carnivals, Try A Trade, a United Nations incursion, a drama excursion and more, students had a number of fantastic learning opportunities available to them throughout Term 2, 2021.

Principal's Address

Welcome to the Term 2 news wrap up, where we look back on a fantastic and eventful term with an unexpected ending. Throughout the term, students have had the opportunity to participate in a broad range of events and activities, such as Reconciliation Week, Sorry Day & Mabo Day, sport carnivals, drama and dance incursions and mock trials to name just a few.

CSPA & CSDPA Forum
During this term, the College hosted a leaders’ forum at which Catholic Secondary Principals and Deputy Principals joined together to discuss current and future developments in higher education with the Vice Chancellors from the five local universities.

Fathers' Day Project

The Catholic Church looks to St Joseph as a role model for fathers, one who cares for and provides for his family and as we mark the Year of St Joseph we would like to celebrate the fathers, grandfathers and father-figures within the Lumen Christi College community. To do this, we have created a special Fathers' Day project.

Try A Trade

On Tuesday, 8 June, a group of Year 9 and 10 students went out to Skill Hire to participate in a Try-A-Trade taster program for three days.
