While Term 1 didn't quite get off to the start that we had planned due to a Covid-19 lockdown, the remainder of the term was jam-packed with a wide range of exciting activities and learning opportunities for our College community.
From the Interhouse Swimming Carnival to our Whole School Musical production of Grease, Year 7 Activity Day, three ACC Inclusive Carnivals, Community Mass, Harmony Day and more, Lumen Christi College was a hive of activity throughout Term 1, 2021.

Diversity Education students and staff have had a busy Term 1, participating in three different ACC Inclusive Sports carnivals.

Visual Arts News
We've had a great start to the Term in Visual Arts, with various learning opportunities and celebrations, including the Arts Captains Morning Tea and a Year 12 Excursion.

Year 7 & 11 Mentor Program
This year, our Year 7 and Year 11 students are taking part in a Mentorship Program.
Michael Devine Discovery Centre
Over the 2020 Christmas break, the College Library was transformed into the Michael Devine Discovery Centre.

HASS News
HASS has been a hive of activity this term. Firstly, we welcomed three new staff members to the Lumen Christi community; Mr Maag, Miss Frankovic and Mr Christmas.

Students Win Principal's Cup Cricket
The annual Principal’s Cup Cricket match was held on Wednesday, 23 March, with a team of eager Year 12 students taking on the College Staff team in the first of four Principal's Cup matches to be played this year.

The 2021 Student Leadership have had a busy start to the year, having been involved in many College activities.

Winter Uniform Required in Term 2
From the first day of Term two, students are required to wear their full College winter uniform.

Black Cockatoo Nesting Hollows
The College has introduced a number of nesting hollows for Black Cockatoos in an effort to help these endangered and vulnerable species.

Miss Del Pup Qualifies for Nationals!
Health & Physical Education Assistant, Miss Rebecca Del Pup, will represent Western Australia in the upcoming National Athletics Championships in Sydney later this month.
