It was a very busy Term 3 here at Lumen Christi College! Some of the term highlights included the Year 12 Emmaus Retreat, the Interhouse Athletics Carnival, NAIDOC Week and Lumen Day.
We were delighted to be able to offer our students so many experiences this term after many of our events and activities had to be postponed earlier in the year due to Covid-19. View the video above to hear about what we got up to this term, and check out the stories below as well as the links to photo albums of College events on our Facebook page.

The Maths Department hopes that through our Maths week activities we are able to inspire all students with open, creative, growth mindset Mathematics.
Lumen Christi College recently celebrated NAIDOC Week, with a number of engaging activities designed to help students and staff learn about and celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
ACC Inclusive Sports
On Friday, 10 August a group of enthusiastic students travelled to Lords Sports Centre to compete in the ACC Inclusive Sports Indoor Soccer Carnival.
There was much sportsmanship, encouragement, laughter and skills on display throughout the day. Lachlan Keane is to be commended for his strong encouragement to team members and competitors, and Reuben Spreadborough for his effective kicking skills.
We also participated in a No Limits Integrated Competition at Pat Goodridge Reserve. Well done to Brayden Campbell for his enthusiastic encouragement to everyone and to Aiden Coutts for scoring 3 goals. This team was supported by Rylee Drage and Ashlee Griffin – thank you for all of your help throughout the day.
