Our Student Leaders recently had the pleasure of visiting the Perth Children's Hospital Foundation to drop off a donation of ipads on behalf of our College.
On Friday, 26 June our Head Boy, Head Girl, Deputy Head Boy and Deputy Head Girl had the wonderful honour of visiting Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH) to drop off a donation of ipads on behalf of our College. These ipads will be used in various departments throughout the hospital, including the Hospital Foundation’s Fun on Four hub, the Child Protection Unit and the Refugee Heath Service.
Our student leaders were given a tour of the Foundation's Fun on Four hub, where they got to see all of the fantastic entertainment and recreation activities that are available to patients, families, carers and visitors to help make their stay at PCH more enjoyable. They also got to hear about many of the programs and initiatives that volunteers can participate in at PCH, and see first-hand the impact that they have.
As our senior students approach the end of their Christian Service Learning journey at the College, the visit was also an opportunity to explore a post school service opportunity.
Our student leaders also received a Certificate of Appreciation and gift from the PCH Foundation which will be displayed at the College.
