As part of the College's Illuminous Week program, which took place in the last week of Term 4, select students from each year group were lucky to work with Indigenous Artist, Jade Dolman, to create a bus stop mural.
The theme for the mural was 'Light of Welcome,' and the College bus stop was deemed a worthy location for the mural as it is a place where many of the Lumen community are greeted each day.
Jade has an excellent reputation as an Artist and Educator of Indigenous Culture, and is known to the Lumen community as she has previously worked with our art students on a community canvas in 2017.
The students certainly gained great insight and experience working with Jade, and have made a wonderful contribution to the College, exhibiting their Lights of Creativity with the bus stop mural.
