Children's Book Week - Year 9 Show Bag Reviews

As part of Lumen Library's Book Week activities, Mrs Passetti’s Year 9 English class participated in the Show Bag Book review. Students were asked to decorate a paper bag with themes reflecting a book they had read. They also had to include four objects, which were placed in the bag, that related to the book . Each student was then required to give an oral presentation in front of the class. This year the standard was so high that the judges decided to split the prize. Jean D’Cruz was awarded a prize for best oral presentation, while Rouchelle Gilmour received a prize for the best show bag decoration and contents. Amy Haddrill received a Highly Commended for her efforts.
