Presentation Evening, November 30th, Burswood Theatre

Families are reminded of the need to be seated in the Theatre by 6.45pm. Students receiving awards, or on stage for other reasons all need to arrive at the Burswood by 6.15pm, or as instructed by individual staff members.
Any member of the extended Lumen Community who would like to attend the evening is welcome to contact Terri or Sylvia on 9394 9337 to check availability of seating. Tickets cost $18, concessions $11 and students $8.

TAGS Evening a huge success

The input by Professor Ralph Martins certainly hit the mark. All present were enthralled hearing about the Alzheimers research with which he is involved. Seeing the work presented by TAGS students was also much enjoyed by parents and siblings alike.

BER Money put to good use at Lumen

Both projects supported by Government funding to Build the Educational Revolution are now complete. The installation of water tanks to harvest rainwater from the Sports Centre roof and other areas of the College are in position, and filled.
Apart from a few final touches, the refurbishment work in the Administration block is also complete. The dedicated Student Services and visitor reception areas have eased congestion and improved the working environment for all.
Well done to Dianne Podmore, our Director of Finance and College Operations, for co-ordinating this work, and to all who have had a hand in the process.
