Laptop Access Program

Learning in the 21st Century for all students includes access to the significant technological developments occurring in the world. To enable our students to have every educational advantage and to empower them for the digital future, Lumen Christi College has implemented a program that will enable each student to have access to a laptop computer.

The College's Laptop Access Program allows students in Years 8 to 12 access to a high quality, high performance laptop at school and at home, supporting the College's 'learning any time, any place' vision. At this stage the Year 7 students will be able to access laptops during the school day.

Lumen Christi College Teachers are currently transforming the way they teach to take full advantage of students having unlimited access to computers and to ensure that laptops will be essential tools in each learning space.

The Program has been designed to enable new and emerging technologies to be injected into the College and to ensure that all devices are maintained with up to date software.

• ICT Agreement 2013 - States the College's general ICT policy.
• Laptop Policy 2013 - Issued in conjunction with the ICT Agreement 2012 for years 8-12.
• Home Technology Use Agreement - Provided by the College to enable parents and students to agree upon ground rules for home use of the laptop
