Encyclopedia Online

Lumen Christi College Library currently subscribes to a number of online databases. These databases provides staff and students with remote access to a wealth of valuable resources. They are essentially huge encyclopedias that have been made available via the internet.
Whether in the College or at home, these databases offer students the opportunity to browse through a fantastic array of materials as they search for inspiration with assignments or simply browse to learn more about an area of personal interest. A user ID and password are needed to access the sites. These have been made available to all students.

World Book Online
Britannica Online
e-Library

Parents are asked to encourage their children to use the above databases as they are valuable resources giving direct links to authenticated web sites. This reduces time wasted trying to find information through search engines.
