Careers Guidance

Coordinator: Mrs Kelly Kendall-Jones

Living in a complex and rapidly changing society, many adolescents face the daunting task of deciding their career pathways before leaving school. Lumen Christi provides comprehensive information to students as they consider their career options. To ensure that all students are given the opportunity to explore their career pathways and to become equipped with the skills and understanding to be able to manage their careers, we have the following services in place:

  • Completion of individual Career Voyage Assessment program by Year 10
  • Participating in the Career and Industry Awareness seminar by all Year 10 students
  • Assisting students in obtaining tax file numbers by Year 9
  • Preparation of resumes and job applications
  • Assisting students in subject selection
  • One-on-one counseling session
  • Guest speakers from industry and tertiary institutions
