Lumen Christi College is a Year 7-12, co-educational Catholic College situated in Martin, nestled in the shelter of the Perth foothills.

Welcome to the Lumen Christi College Website

As a secondary, co-educational Catholic College, we foster pride in self and encourage every student to reach their potential by striving for excellence. Our pastorally caring and supportive learning environment helps to create a positive atmosphere in which all can learn and grow.

Our College name, 'The Light of Christ', calls us, individually and as a community, to be beacons of the Gospel. That is, people who help make God known and present in our world today. Our Mission Statement acknowledges the holistic nature of humanity, and the centrality of our role 'To be an inclusive, creative learning community centred in Christ, committed to the education and development of each individual in a changing world.' This mission is at the heart of all College pursuits and endeavours.

As you travel through the site you will witness the diversity of our community and discover some of the ways our mission is lived out through the many facets of life at Lumen. Parents and students considering Lumen Christi College as a possible destination for high school can sample some of the spiritual, academic, social and sporting opportunities on offer through this site. Uniform Shop

The Uniform Shop is located in E Centre, close to the Manual Arts rooms. Signs will direct you. Orders and payments can be made by telephoning 9394 9349 or email lumenchristi.uniforms@permapleat.com.au. Please note that payment cannot be made by cheque.

Bush Fire Season is upon us

Families are reminded of the need to be extra vigilant during the bushfire seson and to take appropriate steps to protect properties. All education establishments are required to have procedures in place for dealing with emergencies such as bush fire threats. These measures are in palce at Lumen Christi and more inforamtion will be shared with staff, students and parents at the start of Term 1.

2011 Presentation Evening & Awards

The creative talents of Lumen students on display at the Presentation Evening were much appreciated by all present. Congratulations to all the performers and award winners, and the organisers. A wonderful team effort. Well done.

The Funding of Catholic Schools
