From the Principal

Welcome to the Lumen Christi College Website

As a secondary, co-educational Catholic College, we foster pride in self and encourage every student to reach their potential by striving for excellence. Our pastorally caring and supportive learning environment helps to create a positive atmosphere in which all can learn and grow.

Our College name, 'The Light of Christ', calls us, individually and as a community, to be beacons of the Gospel. That is, people who help make God known and present in our world today. Our Mission Statement acknowledges the holistic nature of humanity, and the centrality of our role 'To be an inclusive, creative learning community centred in Christ, committed to the education and development of each individual in a changing world.' This mission is at the heart of all College pursuits and endeavours.

As you travel through the site you will witness the diversity of our community and discover some of the ways our mission is lived out through the many facets of life at Lumen. Parents and students considering Lumen Christi College as a possible destination for high school can sample some of the spiritual, academic, social and sporting opportunities on offer through this site. Please contact the College if you would like to come and view our facilities in person.
